• Visiting Tanot Mata Temple – Tanot Mata Temple is located at a distance of around 130 km from the city of Jaisalmer and is situated in Tanot village. This holy place is a prominent place of tourist attraction and is a must visit for anyone who is paying a visit to the mighty Thar Desert. The holy shrine is known for its divine aura and purity. Border Security Force (BSF) of India is the body which looks after the maintenance and preservation of this heritage site since the war of 1971 between India and Pakistan.
